About Us
The Group was formed in the year 1991 by Mr. P.C. Bajaj, a first generation entrepreneur with humble beginnings in the name & style of “Hi-Tech Engineers” manufacturing components for sugar mills & boilers.
Mr. Bajaj is a Post Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with 23 years of rich professional experience. He was actively involved in academia as a Professor of Mechanical Engineering in Engineering College. Mr. Bajaj was awarded “Indira Priyadarshini Award” for excellence in Industrial sector in the year 1998.Encouraged with the response, “Omax Industries” a new entity was formed to manufacture GSE, in 1995.
Many new airlines, including low cost carriers, commenced their operations in India and hence requirement of GSEs has increased many-fold. Therefore, the Group decided to set up another entity in 2003 in the name and style of “Asara Engineering Works” to cater to increased potential of business of GSE. |

Their efforts, experience, industry knowledge has been of immense enable contribution for the firm. We have successfully witnessed lot of success so far in our entire business. Following are the leaders who guide us at every step and the reason which makes them ardent leaders in the enterprise:
Mr. P.C. Bajaj – Chairman and Managing Director.
He is a mechanical engineer by profession with more than 23 years of experience in industry. Worked for approximately 5 years with Walchandnagar Industries Ltd in design & marketing divisions. Involved in academia for 3 years as Professor of Mechanical Engineering. HE has formed and managing Hi-Tech Engineers, Omax Industries & Asara Engineering Works since 1991. Apart from this, he is a president of Sampada Vidya Pratishthan’s Dnyan Sampada English Medium School and director of Ahmednagar Gymkhana. |
Mr. V.C. Bajaj – Director:
Mr. V.C. Bajaj is responsible for commercial and finance functions of the Group for over 15 years. He is a director of Sampada Vidya Pratishthan’s Dnyan Sampada English Medium School and Dhansampada Co-operative Credit Society.
Mr. S.P.Kulkarni:Dy.General Manager
29 years experience as plant manager in sugar plant, machinery manufacturing, liaison, project execution & marketing in reputed companies like Gangapur sugar mill, Extract Engineers (India) Pvt. Ltd, & Suviron Equipments Pvt. Ltd.Handled marketing of equipments and process plants Member STAI, DSTA and SISTA
Mr. R.V Raskar – Head Design & Quality.
Mechanical Engineer with 27 years of experience in the field of cement machinery manufacturing, contracts & construction, prior to joining Bajaj group of Industries. |
Product Profile
Our concern is actively engaged in manufacturing, supplying and exporting ground support equipment. We are offering Stepladder, Baggage Conveyor, Serive Carts and Material Handling Equipments. Our stepladder range comprises tow able stepladder, passenger ramp and others. The other category baggage conveyor includes of The products comprises some of features which have enabled us in becoming a preferred name:

Mr. B.R. Kokane – Vendor Development & Q.A Manager
He is a mechanical Engineer with over 18 years exp. in production planning, logistics, and ISO implementation as MR, TQM and as heading in reputed companies like Shrijee Engineering Works Ltd, etc. He has even handled total supply chain responsibility from production to quality related aspects.
Mr. Mahesh T.Tambe – Business Development Manager
Who is an engineer with over 8 years experience in sales, logistics, and ISO, T.S activities. Adding to his service, he has handled total supply chain responsibility from order registration to post sales. He has a familiar in all marketing related functions such as pricing preparing of proposals. Lastly, he has even organized on-site banking products demonstrations. |
Team and Management
| We are headed by a team of expert professionals who put their heart and soul into the business. Other than the leaders we have with us for guiding us, we have key management executives, legal advisors, financial advisors, supervisory cadre and other workmen. We even have engineers, quality inspectors, sales and marketing representatives, warehouse managers and management and administration personnels. All the professionals are highly qualified and have large experience in the field. Their understanding for industry and market have enabled us in manufacturing the best. |
Quality Assurance
| We have an independent quality assurance department reporting directly to the managing director. All the necessary measuring and monitoring instruments are as per enclosed annexure and are available to ensure stringent quality assurance and control. A detailed quality assurance plan for every equipment is prepared and followed strictly. At our department, all parts, sub-assemblies, components, final assemblies are strictly inspected as per respective engineering drawings. A certificate of conformation to GSE requirements can be issued as per customer’s requirement. |
Engineering & Standardization
- We have a well equipped engineering department with latest AUTOCAD version.
- Any customer requirement is first studied with respect to the specifications provided. A layout drawing is prepared.
- All dimensional requirements are first plotted after which, detailed component and sub-assembly drawings are made.
- These drawings are checked, verified and approved before starting fabrication work.
- After a prototype is approved by customer, all drawings are reviewed, modified if required and frozen. Besides this, there is a great emphasis on standardization. For e.g. all fasteners used will be ONLY Hi-tensile and ONLY TVS make. All primer will be ONLY EPOXY. All final paint will be Polyurethane ONLY.Continual improvement in engineering concepts is carried out based on customer feedback, various observations by QAC department as well as by those persons visiting airports, discussions with end users.

- All standard engineering practices are followed during fabrication of equipment.
- After a prototype is approved by customer, all drawings are reviewed, modified if required and frozen. Besides this, there is a great emphasis on standardization.
- Many of machined components are also standardized i.e. common items across various products.
- Continual improvement in engineering concepts is carried out based on customer feedback
- Various observations by QAC department as well as by those persons visiting various airports, discussions with end users.
